/Commonly Asked Questions About Arizona Real Estate Continuing Education

The Requirements: The Arizona Department of Real Estate requires 24 hours of continuing education every 24 months. All renewals must include a minimum of three hours in the following four subjects: Fair Housing, Disclosures, Agency Law, Commissioner’s Standards,  Real Estate Law and Contract Law.  The remaining balance of education can be in any approved general real estate continuing education subject. *If you are an active status designated broker or self-employed broker at least 3 hours of credit in the Commissioner’s Standards category must be of the Broker Management Clinic course. ** The Arizona Real Estate Commission requires all licensees to use the Commission’s online CE recording process to submit continuing education credit. Licensees are encouraged to submit continuing education credit upon completion of a course rather than waiting until the end of the license cycle. ***The Arizona Department of Real Estate allows a maximum of nine (9) continuing education hours per day. There are no limits on the number of hours allowed to be taken online.

The Process: The continuing education student will be sent the total number of hours enrolled in. The course set can be sent via email (PDF Files) or shipped as physical text. Each course will contain specific information outlined for study. Once a student feels confident with the information in the workbook, the student will take a quiz to receive the certificate of education. The quiz can be taken Online, via fax or in person at Key Realty School.  Students testing online can print out certificates and thus complete the entire educational process online. Use the testing link below for additional information about testing to receive your certificate for these courses.

The Products: Key Realty School develops specific renewal "Easy Packs" to satisfy all of the requirements listed for renewals. These "Easy Packs" are specifically designed to complete the renewal requirements based on the licensee’s credentials. (See "Easy Pack" listings below to select which package works best for your credentials) Completely new renewal packages are developed every year; this prevents the student from repeating any topics.
